The Bears signed Chaz Glotta a freshman transfer from Southern Illinois.
GREELEY, Colo. – The Northern Colorado men's basketball team announced the signing of another big-time transfer in Chaz Glotta.
Glotta was a favorite of head coach B.J. Hill's out of high school, but elected to go to Southern Illinois. The guard has now agreed to come play under Hill, adding another threat outside of the arc.
"Chaz is a player we recruited very hard two years ago when he was going into his senior year," Hill said. "We are very fortunate to add him to our program when things didn't work out at Southern Illinois. He was coached at a high level by his father Charles in high school and comes to us as a guard that can play multiple positions and score the ball in a variety of ways."
Charles "Chaz" Glotta (6-2, 180-lbs, Guard)
Glotta didn't see much court time in his inaugural season with the Salukis. He made appearances in just 18 games, averaging 2.3 points in 7.0 minutes.

Glotta is his high school's record holder for career three-pointers with 259 made. He earned spots on the All-Conference and All-District all four years at Fort Zumwalt North. The transfer was a four-time Academic All-Conference member, and on the honor roll.
