* Won one match at UNC Open before an injury sat him out most of the season

REDSHIRT JUNIOR [2014-15]:
* Went 11-12 overall during the season with a record of 1-3 in dual matches
* Took fourth place overall in the Cowboy Open to open up the season
* Finished third at the Northern Colorado Open

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE [2013-14]:
* Went 2-18 overall and 2-14 in duals
* Picked up wins over Jacob Leon of Cal Poly and Joe Jarrells of Virginia Military Institute in duals
* Faced three nationally-ranked wrestlers in a row during the season (#33 Colin Johnston (WVU), #12 Anthony Collica (OSU), #6 Evan Henderson (North Carolina)
* Went 0-2 at the Western Wrestling Conference tournament March 8th

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN [2012-13]:
* Went 12-10 overall during the season and 4-5 in duals
* Took first place at 141 pounds in UNC's Old Chicago Open Nov. 17 - won via one pin and two technical falls
* Took second place at Wyoming's Cowboy Open Nov. 3, notching three wins, one via pin
* Was one of three Bears to win a bout against #18 Nebraska, winning an 8-3 decision over Ridge Kiley

FRESHMAN [2011-12]:
* Redshirted

Discovery Canyon High School [Monument, Colo.]:
* Earned a total of nine varsity letters with four in wrestling, three in football and two in track & field
* As a freshmen he advanced to the state championship at 112 pounds, then in his sophomore year, finished third at 125 pounds
* He won the state title at 3A as a junior after posting a perfect 44-0 record and lost in the state championship match his senior year
* Also helped the football team to a league championship
