2011-12: Posted a 10-8 overall record, but went a perfect 4-0 in duals, splitting time at 184 pounds with Patrick Gomez... Took fourth place at the Old Chicago Open after going 3-2... Four of his victories on the season were for bonus points... Went 0-2 at the NCAA West Regional with the misfortune of drawing the top-ranked wrestler in the nation, Wyoming's Joe LeBlanc, in the opening round.
2010-11: Wrestled at both 174 and 184 pounds as a freshman... Posted an overall record of 10-22 with six of his nine wins coming for team bonus points... Had five falls, including his quickest pin in 46 seconds, and one technical fall... Did not win a dual match... Finished fifth at both the Cowboy Open and the Old Chicago Open, competing at 184 pounds in each.
2009-10: Spent a year at the University of Colorado-Boulder... Redshirted as a football player.
High School: Wrestled for Mark Schmidt and the Broomfield High School Eagles ... Three-year letter winner in wrestling ... Also lettered four years in football ... Two time all-conference wrestler ... Named once to the all-state football team ... Won a state title in wrestling his senior year.
Personal: Born in Thorton, Colo. on April 20, 1991 ... Son of Mark and Margaret ... Two younger brothers, Luke (15) and Ty (17) ... Plans to major in Sports and Excercise Science while at Northern Colorado.
