Jenny LaPorte

2013-14: Posted the third fastest time in program history in the 100 fly with a time of 55.68 at the WAC Championships during her sophomore season … Finished 15th in the 100 backstroke at the WAC with a time of 57.87 … Swam the 50 free in 24.31, finishing 22nd, at the WAC … Member of the 200 medley, 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay teams at the WAC.

2012-13: Made a huge impact as a freshman, ranking in the top 10 in school history in the 50 free (9th, 24.41), 100 back (3rd, 56.53), 100 fly (2nd, 55.54) and 200 fly (2:07.15)... She also swam the third leg on the 200 and 400 medley relay teams that broke the school records in 1:42.70 and 3:47.81, respectively, and swam the second leg of the school record breaking 200 freestyle relay (1:33.83)... Named to the 2012-13 WAC All-Academic team... Was a Second-Team WAC All-Conference pick in the 100 butterfly after posting the fifth-fastest time in the league in 2013... Ranked 10th in the WAC in the 100 backstroke after swimming a 56.53 at the WAC Championships... Also ranked 13th in the WAC in the 200 fly, 17th in the 100 free and 31st in the 50 free.

High School: Owns the Pinnacle High School records in the 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay... Was team captain as a senior as well as a two-year member of the National Honor Society... Advanced to the state finals in both individual events as well as the three relays... Named MVP of the team her senior year... Also honored on the 2011 USA Swimming Scholastic All-American Team.

Personal: Is one of four daughters of Todd and Kelly LaPorte... Has two older sisters, Paige and Lindsey and a younger sister, Grace... Born Feb. 9 in Tucson... Pursuing a degree in marketing.
