2011-12: Posted the second-fastest time on the team in the 200 IM, swimming a 2:10.96 at the UNLV Winter Invitational, missing her personal best time by 0.36... Swam a personal best time of 59.26 at the MPSF Championship in the 100 backstroke.
2010-11: As a true freshman, posted the 10th fastest time in Northern Colorado history in both the 100 back (59.30) and the 200 back (2:08.60), as well as the ninth-fastest 200 IM (2:10.60) and swam the second leg of the school record 200 freestyle relay (1:35.52)... At the MPSF Championship, finished 21st in the 100 yard backstroke (59.58) and 22nd in the 200 back (2:08.60).
High School: Was a four-year letterman for the Ponderosa Mustangs... Advanced to the state championship in both individual events and relays all four years... Is a member of the National Honor Society and was a four-year member of the honor roll... Has been a member of the Parker Phenomena Swim Team since she was eight years old.
Personal: Born May 7, 1992 to Shannon and Jim Byrne in Denver... Has one younger brother, Christopher... Is majoring in sport and exercise science.
