2010-11: As a true freshman, posted the fastest time on the team in the 1000 free, swimming a 10:54.10 at New Mexico, though her start in the 1650 at the MPSF Championship of 10:33.83 is the eighth-fastest in school history... Her time of 17:30.31 in the 1650 free also places her sixth on that chart all-time at Northern Colorado... At the UNLV Winter Invitational, swam a 5:08.34 in the 500 free, just missing the top 10 list.
High School: Was team captain of the Jaguars who finished second at the state competition in 2010… Named to the all-state team as a junior… Also swims for the Wichita Swim Club.
Personal: Is the oldest of four children of Paul and Kathi Cernohous... Hopes to major in nursing at Northern Colorado... Born April 1 in Waterloo.
