Started nine of 15 games as a junior ... Sixth on the team in total shots with 16 and fourth in shots on goal with nine ... Scored her only goal of the season in a 3-0 win against North Dakota on Sept. 28 ... Recorded two assists to tie her for fifth on the team in total points with four.
2011:

The attack-minded defender was excellent all season at creating offensive opportunities ... Started in all 18 matches she played in as a junior ... Earned recognition on the Big Sky All-Conference First Team ... Finished the year with two goals and two assists ... Tamayo continually put pressure on the defense -- her 23 shots were the most of any Bear defender ... Her first goal of the season came in a 2-0 home win on Sept. 30 against Northern Arizona ... Also scored a goal in the regular-season finale against Nebraska-Omaha ... Tied a career-high with four shots on Aug. 26 against Jacksonville.

Tamayo did not see any on-field action in her sophomore campaign, but looks forward to bouncing back next year and producing.
