Sean LaBeauf joined the staff of the University of Northern Colorado women's basketball program as the Associate Head coach in the summer of 2020. He will serve as the team's offensive coordinator and lead the guard development, scouting and program's recruiting efforts.
Lebeauf came to UNC after spending the past two years as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Prairie View A&M. He helped PVAMU to the WNIT during his first season.
Prior to coaching at Prairie View A&M, he was an assistant coach at the University of Arizona for three seasons. At Arizona LeBeauf helped secure a top 25 recruiting class and coached one of the most prolific scorers in program history in Candice Warthen. Warthen was an All-Pac 12 honorable mention and just one of 18 players in program history to score 1,000 points.
LeBeauf made his way to Arizona from Paris Junior College where we was the Director of Athletics and women's basketball coach. As the head coach he coached an NJCAA All-American nominee, four All-Region XIV selections, fiver honorable mention All-Conference selections and two Freshman of the year.
He began his coaching career at the high school rank first at Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma and then at Destrehan HS and Shaw HS.
LeBauf graduated from the University of Montevallo with a Bachelors' degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on accounting, He played basketball in colege winnin 20-plus games in three consecutive season.
He is married to Shannon Perry-LeBeauf, who is the Associate Head Coach for UCLA women's basketball.
