Jayden Jackson, from Aurora, Colorado, is a dedicated manager for the UNC Women’s Basketball team and a student in Human Performance with minors in Psychology and Nutrition. Scheduled to graduate in 2025, Jayden has brought invaluable support to the program, combining her passion for sports and her interest in sports psychology. She attended Overland High School, where she excelled as a varsity-lettered athlete and MVP, and was also an Honor Roll student.
Jayden's background includes three years of experience coaching at Big Red Camp and in Track and Field, where she developed hands-on skills essential for her future in coaching and sports psychology. Her journey into college sports was notably marked by her resilience following open-heart surgery in 2021, which deepened her commitment to helping others, especially through sports.
Jayden chose UNC for its close-to-home location, supportive resources, and emphasis on real-world experience, which align perfectly with her aspirations in coaching and athlete development. Her hobbies include weightlifting, basketball, flag football, and outdoor activities. As she finishes her fourth year with UNC, Jayden is excited to continue building her skills and supporting her team on and off the court.
