2017-18: Reyes played in 19 games as a freshman averaging 1.3 PPG and averaged close to 3.1 PPG.
High School: The 5'10" point guard started to impress spectators early in his junior year. Reyes averaged 19.0 points per game, 5.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists... His excellent play earned the newest commit first team All-District and first team All-Region honors...Reyes was also named ESPN's San Antonio high school player of the week in 2015-16 after knocking down a game-winning shot in overtime to clinch a playoff berth for his Cougars... Reyes makes the game look easy when the ball is in his hands. He is versatile and is a good scorer who gets everyone involved...Reyes chose Northern Colorado over Troy, Texas State, Long Island and Hartford.
Johnatan is the son of Abel Valdez and plans to pursue a major in Business at Northern Colorado.
