- Led all UNC linemen with 36 tackles, 16 solo
- Had 3.5 tackles for a loss, broke up one pass and hurried the quarterback four times.
- Recovered on fumble
- Made a career-high six tackles at Northern Arizona
- Recorded 1.5 sacks against South Dakota

- Played in one games on special teams and as a backup tight end.

- Golden attended Doherty High School here he lettered in football for three years and lettered in basketball.
- Golden was a First Team All-conference Tight End and Defensive End and was also a First Team All-Conference for basketball.
