- As a junior in 2015, he claimed his first state title and was named first-team All-State
- As a sophomore in 2014, the two-time team MVP was state runner-up and named second-team All-Area
- Hemauer was ranked as the No. 1 recruit in the state via Wisconsin Wrestling Online in the 2016 class. He was ranked 12th in the nation by FloWrestling and 14th by The Open Mat
- Earned first-team Academic All-State as a sophomore and second-team All-State as a junior.
