Bears Move To Seventh After Round Two

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Northern Colorado men's golf carded a 3-under-par 285 during Sunday's second round of the Gene Miranda Invitational at Eisenhower Golf Club, moving the Bears to 574 through 36 holes.
The Bears' 285 was highlighted by a strong second-round performance from Campbell McFadden, who fired a 5-under-par 67. McFadden climbed to 1-under 143 for the tournament and is tied for 23rd individually.
Tommie Clark carded a 2-over 74 in the second round and sits at even-par 144 through 36 holes, tied for 28th. Kaelen Dulany posted a 1-over 73 to move to 2-over 146, while Cooper Tate recorded a 1-under 71 and is also at 2-over 146. Both players are tied for 39th.
Thomas Barnes Grimes rounded out the Bears' team score with a 3-over 75 and sits at 2-over 146 overall.
Northern Colorado's 574 total has the Bears tied for seventh in the team standings entering the final round.
Individually, Matias Koropeski, competing as an individual for Northern Colorado, carded a 1-over 73 in Round Two and is tied for 15th at 5-over 149.
The Bears will close out the Gene Miranda Invitational with the final round Monday at Eisenhower Golf Club.
