Mori Name UNC Student-Athlete of the Month for August

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado women's soccer student-athlete Maddie Mori in her first month as a Bear finished it as the UNC Student-Athlete of the Month.
Mori won the Big Sky Offensive player of the Week after scoring both goals against Colorado State including the game winner in the 82nd minute.
Mori became the first UNC player to earn Big Sky Player of the Week honors since Kaya Lindberg on Oct. 25, 2025. Mori also becomes the first Bear to be named Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week since current teammate Lexi Tuite earned the recognition in 2023. Tuite was also the last UNC freshman to earn Player of the Week honors.
In the first four games of her career, she has totaled four shots and two goals.
