FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Northern Colorado wrapped the Front Range Invite on Saturday at the Edora Pool and Ice Center with a pair of standout distance and butterfly performances, led by Ellyson Lombardi's victory in the 100-yard butterfly.

Lombardi touched in 55.44, edging Colorado State's Evie Munz by one hundredth of a second. Avi Tromp added a fourth-place finish in the same event at 56.56, and Anisa Sabovic placed 13th in 58.20.

Rabess and On-the-Hill Go 2-3 in the 1650
The Bears delivered a strong showing in the meet's longest event, the 1,650-yard freestyle. Kyra Rabess finished second in 17:38.92, with Emma On-the-Hill right behind in third at 17:40.13. Audrey Varet also scored, placing 13th in 18:38.76.

Relay Podiums
Northern Colorado opened the day with a fourth-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay, as Martina Yuki Trionfetti, Tromp, Lombardi and Alexis Mishler combined for 1:44.17.

A second Bears entry of Ariane Bernier, Lara Oggionni, Sabovic and Rabess took 10th in 1:49.24, and a third group of Linnea Haan, Audrey Vannelli,

Lora Konter and Vitoria Simioni finished in 1:51.38.

The meet closed with the 400-yard freestyle relay, where the Bears placed two teams in the top six. Trionfetti, Mishler, Simioni and Rabess finished fifth in 3:29.94, while Lombardi, Konter, Tromp and Gabriella Fish took sixth in 3:31.65.

Individual Scoring Across Events
Agathi Manoli posted the Bears' top individual finish of the morning session, taking fifth in the 400-yard IM at 4:34.58. On-the-Hill was 13th in 4:40.52, Vannelli 23rd in 4:46.24, Hlaa Diab 25th in 4:48.98, Haan 28th in 4:58.44 and Oggionni 29th in 5:04.53.

Trionfetti continued her strong meet with a third-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle at 1:53.03. Simioni was eighth in 1:55.03 and Konter ninth in 1:55.30, giving the Bears three of the top nine. On-The-Hill placed 14th at 1:55.87, Lombardi 18th at 1:57.14, Rabess 19th at 1:57.28, Fish 22nd at 1:57.88, Bernier 34th at 1:59.87 and Varet 38th at 2:01.25.

In the 100-yard breaststroke, Tromp finished third in 1:04.39, with Oggionni 16th at 1:08.94, Manoli 19th at 1:09.59 and Diab 27th at 1:12.20.

Trionfetti added a third-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke at 57.68. Bernier was 11th in 58.68, Mishler 22nd in 1:00.36, Manoli tied for 27th at 1:01.22, Sabovic 31st at 1:01.62, Haan 33rd at 1:01.96 and Vannelli 38th at 1:02.61.
