2025-26: Competed in multiple events for Northern Colorado, highlighted by strong performances in the backstroke group at the MPSF Championships. Placed fifth in the 200 back (1:59.38) and eighth in the 100 back (55.53), while also finishing 16th in the 500 free (5:00.50). Broke into UNC’s all-time top 10 in both backstroke events, ranking third in the 200 back and eighth in the 100 back, establishing herself as one of the program’s top backstroke swimmers.
2024-25: Had an 8th place finish in the 200y backstroke finals at the Trailblazer Invitational in Nov. 2024...Had a 6th place finish at the Wac championships 2025 (all WAC second team)
High School: Was a Canadian Eastern Championship Gold Medalist and an Ontario Junior International Finalist in all backstroke events. Also a Canadian National Finalist in the 100 and 200 backstroke. Academically, Bernier found herself on the Deans list all four years of high school.
