Kickoff Times Announced for Big Sky & Home Football Games

11 of 12 Game Times Finalized for 2025 Schedule
GREELEY, Colo. – Game times have been finalized for 11 of Northern Colorado's 12 contests for the upcoming 2025 football season, including all five home games at Nottingham Field. The Bears will kick off the season at home on Saturday, August 30, against Chadron State at 1 p.m.
As announced today, all Big Sky Conference games will once again air on ESPN+, giving fans the opportunity to follow Northern Colorado's full conference slate through the platform. Additional broadcast details and kickoff times for select nonconference road games are expected to be announced at a later date.
The Bears' nonconference road stretch includes trips to Colorado State (Sept. 6), South Dakota (Sept. 13 at 12 p.m. MT), and Houston Christian (Sept. 20 at 5 p.m. MT), before returning home to open Big Sky play against Idaho State on Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. That contest will coincide with Homecoming.
Following a bye on Oct. 4, Northern Colorado hits the road for back-to-back conference games at Idaho (Oct. 11 at 3 p.m. MT) and Sacramento State (Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. MT).
The Bears then return home for three of their final five games, beginning with Kids Day vs. UC Davis (Oct. 25 at 1 p.m.), followed by a Nov. 1 matchup with Montana State at noon for Military Appreciation Day, and Salute to Service.
UNC wraps up its home slate on Nov. 22 with a Senior Day matchup vs. Portland State at 12 p.m.
