38 Bears Earn Big Sky Spring All-Academic Honors

UNC student-athletes from women’s golf, softball, and track & field recognized for excellence in the classroom
FARMINGTON, Utah – The Big Sky Conference recognized 38 University of Northern Colorado student-athletes on the 2024-25 Spring All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.
The honor highlights academic achievement among student-athletes competing in women's golf, softball, and outdoor track & field. To qualify, student-athletes must have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher, participated in at least half of their team's competitions (or met sport-specific requirements), and completed at least one academic term at their Big Sky institution.
Northern Colorado's 38 honorees came from four programs, with softball and women's outdoor track & field leading the way with 12 selections each. Women's golf followed with six, and men's outdoor track & field added eight to round out the spring list.
Across the Big Sky Conference, a total of 659 student-athletes were named to the Spring All-Academic Team.
