UNC opens the season in Bartlesville before traveling across four states to close out the year
GREELEY, Colo. – The University of Northern Colorado women's golf team is set to begin its 2025 fall campaign, UNC Director of Golf Clayton Sikorski announced Monday.
"We are excited about the schedule and playing in five different states. It gives our players a great opportunity to compete in strong fields and experience different conditions. This will help us gain valuable experience as we build toward peaking in the spring to compete for a Big Sky Championship," said Coach Barrett, Associate Head Coach.
The Bears have added a few new faces to the lineup this season and will tee it up for the first time as a team at the Clerico Women's Invitational, hosted by Oral Roberts University. The tournament is scheduled for September 15–16 at Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Following a one-week break from competition, UNC will hit the road for a busy stretch of fall tournaments. The team heads to Tacoma, Washington, to compete in the Harbottle Invitational at Tacoma Country Club from September 29–30. Just days later, the Bears will travel south to Highlands Ranch, Colorado, for the Ron Moore Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of Denver, taking place October 2–5 at Highlands Ranch Golf Club.
The Bears then continue their fall slate in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where they will take part in the Golf Iconic Classic, hosted by New Mexico State University. That tournament runs from October 13–15 at NMSU Golf Course.
UNC will close out the fall portion of its 2025 schedule in Manhattan, Kansas. The Bears are set to compete in the Powercat Classic, hosted by Kansas State, from October 20–21 at Colbert Hills Golf Club.
