GREELEY, Colo. — Northern Colorado head football coach Ed Lamb will join an esteemed group of state collegiate coaches on May 2 for the 18th annual Colorado Coaches for Charity event, taking place at the Infinity Park Event Center in Glendale, Colorado.
Lamb, who is entering his third season at the helm of the Bears, will share the stage with Air Force's Troy Calhoun, Colorado State's Jay Norvell, CSU Pueblo's Philip Vigil, Colorado general manager David Kelly, and event founder Fisher DeBerry — a 2011 College Football and 2008 Colorado Sports Hall of Fame inductee.
The evening will highlight football, community service, and a look ahead to the upcoming season. For Lamb, the event is more than just a night to talk football, it's an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of service within Northern Colorado.
"I am really excited to partner with Colorado Coaches for Charity to recognize the Arc of Northeast Colorado and the great work they do in our community," Lamb said. "We will also be honoring Tyler and Laura Richardson as our community heroes for all the encouragement and support they provide to the greater Greeley area."
The Arc of Northeast Colorado, which Lamb has chosen to spotlight, advocates for and supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families, strengthening community ties that the Bears program values deeply.
The May 2 event will begin at 6 p.m., with proceeds benefiting a variety of local nonprofits selected by each participating coach. Tickets and donation information can be found at coloradocoachesforcharity.com/donate.
The event is coordinated by Home Field Advantage, a company devoted to supporting nonprofit organizations and initiatives that uplift youth and frontline forces, while promoting healing for those impacted by traumatic brain injuries (TBI).
