Campbell Named Luna’s Taco Student Athlete of the Week

GREELEY, Colo. – Junior Jerome Campbell has been named Luna's Taco Student-Athlete of the Week by the University of Northern Colorado Athletics Department for his record-breaking performance at the Arkansas Qualifier, hosted by Arkansas.

Campbell qualified for the World Athletics Indoor Track & Field Championships when he won the 60-meter hurdles event with a personal best time of 7.55. With this time, he also broke the UNC and Big Sky all-time records, previously set by him in 2023, as well as the Arkansas Qualifier meet record.

The Kingston, Jamaica native is currently ranked fifth in the NCAA and 24^th in the world.

"I am thrilled that Jerome is receiving this well-deserved recognition," said Director of Track & Field Wayne Angel. "He has proven time and time again that he is one of the most exceptional hurdlers in the world."
