GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado Football capped off a productive early signing period with nine additions to its 2026 recruiting class, head coach Ed Lamb announced Friday. The three-day window (Dec. 3-5) brought a strong Colorado-centric group, highlighted by the Friday signing of ThunderRidge quarterback Caeden Reeder.
Reeder, listed at 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, officially signed Friday. The Highlands Ranch product threw for 1,899 yards and 17 touchdowns this fall while completing 58.1% of his passes. Over 24 career games, he totaled 3,394 yards and 21 scores, averaging 141.4 passing yards per contest.
UNC opened the early period Wednesday by signing six players, five from Colorado, to kick-start the class:
Houston Boyce, OL – Skyline HS (Longmont, Colo.)
6'7", 310 lbs., two-way lineman with a nearly 7-foot wingspan.
Asher Gardzelewski, OL – Green Mountain HS (Lakewood, Colo.)
6'5", 300 lbs.; committed in September.
Lincoln Hageman, LB – Erie HS (Erie, Colo.)
6'3", 200 lbs.; paced Erie with 123 tackles, 17 TFLs, and added 258 receiving yards.
Jayden Spencer, CB – Cherry Creek HS (Greenwood Village, Colo.)
6'0", 170 lbs.; elite 4.41 speed and 45 tackles this season for 13-0 Cherry Creek.
Noah Meurer, WR – Arvada West HS (Arvada, Colo.)
6'0", 180 lbs.; explosive playmaker with 69 catches, 1,109 yards, 13 TDs in 2024.
Career: 159 receptions, 2,485 yards, 25 TDs.
Asher Bancroft, OL – Chaparral HS (Temecula, Calif.)
Southern California standout who has earned All-Conference honors.
Fansano and Pulte, both from Fairview High School in Boulder, accepted offers of enrollment on Thursday.
Fansano, a 6'3", 275-pound interior lineman and multi-year all-conference pick, joins the Bears after serving as a team captain at Fairview.
Pulte, a 6'5", 230-pound offensive/defensive lineman and early graduate with a 3.87 GPA.
Including Friday signee Reeder and Thursday additions Fansano and Pulte, UNC's early group features nine newcomers, with eight hailing from Colorado.
The early signing period concludes a positive fall for the Bears, who posted their most wins in a season since 2016, finishing 4-8 overall and 2-6 in Big Sky play. UNC continues shaping its 2026 roster ahead of the traditional National Signing Day in February.
