Bears Post Record-Setting Academic Semester in Fall 2025

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado Athletics delivered one of the strongest academic semesters in recent department history during the Fall 2025 term, posting record-setting grade point averages across multiple benchmarks.
The Bears recorded a 3.415 department term GPA, the highest single-term GPA for Northern Colorado Athletics in more than six years. The department also achieved its highest cumulative GPA in more than six years, finishing the term at 3.369.
Nine programs led the way academically with term GPAs above 3.5:
Women's Golf – 3.794
Women's Volleyball – 3.785
Softball – 3.697
Men's Basketball – 3.619
Women's Soccer – 3.580
Men's Golf – 3.573
Women's Swimming & Diving – 3.538
Women's Basketball – 3.528
