Maddox Broughton Named to Stats Perform FCS Freshman All-America Team

GREELEY, Colo. – Redshirt freshman long snapper Maddox Broughton has been named to the Stats Perform FCS Freshman All-American Team, the organization announced Wednesday.
Broughton started all 12 games at long snapper during the 2025 season and earned All-Big Sky Honorable Mention recognition. He anchored a Northern Colorado special teams unit that ranked top-three in the Big Sky in net punting and featured a top-six conference placekicker and a top-six punter by average.
A model of consistency throughout the season, Broughton successfully snapped on all 59 punts and all 21 PAT and field goal attempts without a recorded miscue. His precision and reliability were critical to UNC's clean special teams execution, including the Bears' 13 made field goals and the unit's season-long 52-yard kick.
