Shehee Leads UNC in Second-Consecutive Tournament

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – Timbre Shehee paced Northern Colorado at the Oral Roberts Spring Invitational, on the River Course (Par 72/6,207 yards) at The Club at Indian Springs Monday and Tuesday.
She opened with a 78 and 74 over the first two rounds. She finished in a five-way tie for 18th place, with a 73 on Tuesday, totaling 225.
The Bears tallied a 303-306-305—609, placing eighth in the 15-team field. UNC trailed Texas A&M–Commerce, which finished seventh, by one stroke. The Bears cleared Wichita State and Drake, which tied for ninth, with seven fewer strokes.
Marija Jucmane fired a 74-76-78—228, completing the event in a five-way tie in 26th-place.
Louise Dahl joined three other competitors one swing behind Jucmane, tied for 31st. She inked a 74-79-76—229.
Camila Velasquez and Amy Chitkoksoong rounded out the team scoring and finished 63rd and 64th, respectively. Velasquez carded a 77-78-82—237, while Chitkoksoong totaled a 77-83-78—238.
Carolina Fallotico accrued 240 shots (82-77-81), one position behind Chitkoksoong.
