Shehee Paces UNC at Wyoming Cowgirl Classic

MARICOPA, Ariz. – Timbre Shehee paced Northern Colorado at the Cowgirl Classic – hosted by Wyoming – on the Desert Course at AK-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club (par 72/6,191 yards) Wednesday and Thursday.
Shehee opened with a 3-under 69 in Wednesday's first circuit around the course. She posted a six on her first hole of the event, the 507-yard, par-5 13th. She recovered with four birdies on the rest of her round.
Shehee completed day one at 1-over-par, following a 76 on her second 18 holes. She finished with a 54-hole total of 220, tied with three other competitors in 23rd place at 4-over-par.
The Bears tallied a 302-300-312—914, placing 16th. They totaled eight strokes behind Hawai'i and two shots better than Montana State.
Louise Dahl inked an 80 and 71, on day one, with five birdies in round two. She completed her tournament in a tie for 70th at 230, following a 79 Thursday.
Carolina Fallotico fired a 76-76-81—233, tied for 80th.
Marija Jucmane and Amy Chitkoksoong rounded out the scoring for the Bears, with an identical score and tied for 90th. Jucmane opened with a 79, before posting a 78 in both the second and third rounds. Chitkoksong shot 78-77-80 over the event.
