Bears Host UNC Spring Invite Monday and Tuesday

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado hosts the 2024 UNC Spring Invitational at Raindance National Resort and Golf Monday and Tuesday in Windsor, Colorado.
Competing for the Bears: Pietro Boeris, Peter Grossenbacher, Gage Messingham, TJ Shehee and Antti Vahvaselka. Alessio Battista, Westin Pals and Blake Danni will compete as individuals.
Along with UNC, the eight-team field includes Colorado State, North Dakota, UTRGV, Utah State, Utah Valley State, Southern Utah and Weber State.
Format: Each team plays two rounds Monday, with teams teeing off on the first and 10th tee boxes, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday's round starts at 8:30 a.m., with a shotgun start. Each five-member team will count the top four scores each round.

ABOUT RAINDANCE: With the opening of the Raindance Resort golf course, Windsor, CO is a premier golfing destination. Westward mountain peaks give way to an open valley in the northwest, providing a beautiful backdrop for a round of golf. The 8,400-yard, 18-hole golf course is situated in the high plains, with an elevation change of about 250 feet.
Fred Funk, winner of eight PGA Tour wins and nine PGA Tour Champions wins and a member of the University of Maryland Athletics Hall of Fame and Maryland State Athletic Hall of Fame designed the golf course.
