Ed Lamb Receives Extension with the Bears

GREELEY, Colo. – The University of Northern Colorado Board of Trustees has approved a 2-year extension for head coach Ed Lamb's employment agreement. This extension keeps Lamb under contract through the 2028 season.
"We wanted to send a message to Coach Lamb, his staff and his student-athletes that we believe in his process and appreciate how he is developing his players into young men, his involvement in our community and University," UNC Director of Athletics Darren Dunn said.
Following a season that featured six opponents that qualified for the FCS playoffs, Lamb is now able to focus on continuing to build the UNC football program.
"I am very grateful to be working under the leadership of Darren Dunn and Andy Feinstein," Lamb said. "This contract extension demonstrates their belief in the work that we have done toward building UNC football into a championship program."
This season, Lamb guided sophomore Hunter Green and freshman Cam Chapa to Big Sky Conference honors. Chapa added FCS Central All-American accolades earlier this week.
