GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado delivered a commanding performance Saturday night, cruising to a 93-46 win over Tabor College at the Bank of Colorado Arena. Behind a career night from Tatum West, the Bears improved to 5-2 on the season with a dominant showing on both ends of the court.

Top Performers
Tatum West led the charge with a career-high 23 points, shooting an impressive 11-of-12 from the field. She added six rebounds and five steals to cap off an outstanding all-around effort. Julia Riley followed with 13 points, sinking three shots from beyond the arc while grabbing four rebounds. Gabi Fields contributed nine points, six assists, four rebounds, and four steals, anchoring the Bears' relentless defense. April Rummery-Lamb chipped in 10 points, and Aniah Hall added seven points and six rebounds.

Game Summary
The Bears established control early, jumping out to a 29-14 lead after the first quarter. West's strong inside presence, combined with efficient shooting from Riley and Fields, allowed Northern Colorado to capitalize on nine Tabor turnovers in the opening frame.

In the second quarter, the Bears broke the game wide open with a 17-0 run, highlighted by a three-pointer from Riley and a fast-break layup from West. Northern Colorado's defense suffocated the Tigers, forcing turnovers and converting them into easy points. At halftime, the Bears held a decisive 51-24 advantage, outscoring Tabor 36-4 in the paint.

Northern Colorado didn't let up in the third quarter, maintaining their defensive pressure and continuing to find success inside. West added key buckets, while Fields' active hands created transition opportunities. The Bears outscored Tabor 18-12, entering the fourth quarter with a 69-36 lead.

In the final period, Northern Colorado closed out the game with contributions from their bench. April Rummery-Lamb and Ella Van Weelden knocked down timely shots, while the team as a whole shot an incredible 84.6% from the floor in the quarter, sealing the victory with a 24-10 edge.

Kassidy Beam led the Bluejays with 10 points, while Ivy Preusser added seven points and one rebound. Despite moments of offensive rhythm, Tabor struggled against Northern Colorado's aggressive defense, shooting 41.9% from the field.
The Bears will look to build on their momentum as they prepare for their next matchup, with Tatum West's career-best performance setting a high bar for the season ahead.

The Bears will compete in the Big Sky-Summit Challenge, facing St. Thomas and North Dakota.
