GREELEY, Colo. – Triple Crown Sports announced the eight-team field for the 16th annual Cancun Challenge.

Set for Nov. 21-22, 2023, at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, the Men's Cancun Challenge welcomes eight teams to this gated, trusted and all-inclusive resort, where teams play in a converted ballroom that is walking distance from guest rooms.
Northern Colorado joins Chicago State, Morgan State, and Radford in the Mayan Division at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya Nov. 21-22, 2023. Fresno State, James Madison, New Mexico State, and Southern Illinois constitute the Riviera Division.
This marks the second appearance in the event for the Bears' and Fresno State, while the rest of the field makes their debut.
The Bears travel to Las Cruces, N.M., for a cross-division clash with the Aggies November 18, before heading to Mexico.
Morgan State and Radford lift the lid on the action in Cancun, tipping off at 10:30 a.m. MT, Nov. 21, followed by UNC and Chicago State at 1 p.m. MT. The winner faces the winner of Morgan State and Radford in the Mayan Division Championship Game on November 22, at 1 p.m. MT. The losing teams on day one kick off the final day at 10:30 a.m. MT.
