Northern Colorado's Season Comes to Close at Big Sky Tournament

BOISE, Idaho – Junior Delaynie Byrne scored 13 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to post the double-double as Northern Arizona defeated Northern Colorado 64-48 in the quarterfinals of the Big Sky tournament.
Fellow junior Hannah Simental added 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while freshman Aniah Hall came off the bench to score seven points and haul in seven boards.
Sophomore Luka Malinka and freshman Averee Kleinhans each scored six points, with Kleinhans adding three rebounds.
As a team the Bears grabbed 33 rebounds and scored 16 points in the paint. UNC used its depth with 13 points coming off the bench.
