Bears Compete in Second Day of CSCAA Nationals

ELKHART, Ind. – The Northern Colorado swimming and diving team swam in the second day of competition at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship on Friday.
The Friday session saw junior Katelyn Bergin race in the B Finals for the 100 fly, claiming 16th out of 62 swimmers with a time of 54.57.
Paula Nunez just missed out on the cut for the 400 IM, finishing 24th in the prelims with a time of 4:26.74, just a touch over one second shy of the cutoff.
The Bears wrap-up competition at the National Invitational Championship tomorrow. Saturday's events include the 1000 free, 1650 free, 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly and the 400 free relay.
