GREELEY, Colo. – Since being hired in mid-December, University of Northern Colorado head football coach Ed Lamb and the football staff quickly made waves across the recruiting landscape and signed a top-notch class that features elite talent at the prep level within Colorado.
"I am very excited about this class and the young men that will be joining our program soon to continue their academic and athletic careers," Lamb said. "We recruited for areas of need and quality depth, and we achieved that. I was very impressed with the reception we had from high school football coaches from across Colorado. UNC is, and always will be, a viable option for student-athletes in Colorado."
Lamb made a promise to recruit high school talent within Colorado and followed through with 13 signees hailing from the Centennial State. Lamb and his staff recruited outside of the state to fill areas of need and add depth from Arizona, California, Georgia, Kansas, Texas, and Washington. The program expects to add a couple of additional signees in the coming days.
