Saint Thomas Named BSC Co-Player of the Week

GREELEY, Colo. – Saint Thomas earned Big Sky Conference Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week, league staff announced Tuesday.

"We're all really excited for Saint and this well-deserved award," head coach Steve Smiley said. "He had a tremendous week and his impact on winning shows up in so many different ways on the court. Saint is going to have a special year for the Bears!"
Thomas collected the first Big Sky weekly honor of his career after his performances against Chicago State and Radford in the Cancun Challenge.

The Omaha, Neb., native averaged 20.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game, garnering an All-Cancun Challenge Mayan Division Tournament Team selection.

Thomas and the Bears close out the four-game road trip against San Diego at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
