Women's Golf welcomes Dahl and Jucmane to the program

GREELEY, Colo.- Northern Colorado Women's Golf welcomes Louise Dahl and Marija Jucmane to the team as a part of the 2022 class. Both boast impressive accolades and make strong additions to the Bears' roster.
Louise Dahl | Denmark
Louise Dahl comes to Greeley as the winner of the Royal Copenhagen junior cup and finished third at the Danish National stroke play championship in 2020. In 2021, she earned a fourth-place finish as part of the Danish National team at the European girls' team championship and took third at the Danish Championship for under 18. Dahl's accolades also include having the highest ranking on WAGR 939.
What Coach Sikorski's is Saying
"I am very excited to officially welcome Louise to the family. Louise is one of the strongest juniors from Denmark and we look for her to jump in the lineup and help immediately. She comes from a great golfing family as well. Louise has played all over the world, which will help her transition to college golf."
Marija Jucmane | Riga, Latvia
Marija Jucmane also joins the Bears with an impressive resume. She is a four-time Latvian Junior Champion (2008, 2010, 2016, 2018) and a two-time Latvian Youth Olympic Champion (2015, 2017). In 2018, she won Estonia Match Play and the Faldo Series Poland Championship.
Along with this, Jucmane was the XXVI Niitvalja Karikas champion. She played her personal best single round this year, shooting a 67, at the Bruzzy hosted by the University of Northern Texas. She's also been ranked as high as 881 on WAGR.

"We are lucky to add Marija to the 2022 class. Marija has spent the last few years at a tremendous program, who has been ranked consistently in the top 50. She's going to bring a competitive and winning attitude to our program."
