Soccer Signs Eight to 2023 Recruiting Class

The eight recruits are a mix of both hometown and out of state talent that will add to the Bears' already competitive team for years to come.

Nora Dougherty | Forward | Glenwood HS

Esja Moore | Defender | Ventura HS
Esja Moore will make her way to Greeley in the fall from Ventura, California. She will bring her defensive skill set to the Bears' already talented group. The Ventura High School product has a long list of accolades including First Team All-League, First Team All-County, First Team All-CIF, and Team MVP honors.

Anneliese Wong | Midfielder | Rancho Campana HS
Anneliese Wong will add her experience as a four-time letterwinner at Rancho Campana High School with her the Bears next year. The Camarillo, California native has a long list of accolades including Second Team All-County Honors, Most Valuable Player, First Team All-Coastal Canyon League Honors, and Newcomer of the Year. She also helped her team to become All-Costal Canyon League finalists, All-Coastal Canyon League Champions, and helped them reach the CIF Playoffs twice.

Nora Dougherty | Forward | Glenwood HS
Glenwood, Iowa native, Nora Dougherty brings her ability to deliver offensively with her to Northern Colorado. During her career at Glenwood High School, Dougherty earned the Golden Boot Award, Sprinter MVP, and Junior Soccer Player of the Year. Her sophomore year, Dougherty recorded 29 goals and 13 assists, and tabbed 33 goals and 10 assists her junior year. She holds the school record for second most goals in a single season and second most assists in a single season. Dougherty also helped her team to become conference runners up.

Francesca Jordan | Defender | Rampart HS
Francesca Jordan is another strong in-state recruit for Coach Barrera and his staff. The Colorado Springs, Colorado native will also be a strong addition to Northern Colorado's defense come fall. The Rampart High School product tabbed six goals and four assists for a total of 16 points during her sophomore season, where she played as a forward.

Kelsey Fulton | Midfielder | Richland HS
Kelsey Fulton will travel from Richland, Washington as she makes Greeley her new home next year. She will add her offensive talents at midfield to an already stacked UNC roster. Fulton has had success at Richland High School, placing her as the No. 8 recruit in the state of Washington.

Sydney Addink | Defender | Mauston HS
Sydney Addink will also boost UNC's defense come fall. The Sun Prairie, Wisconsin native will bring experience helping her team become 2021 Conference Champions to Greeley. The Mauston High School product was named All-Conference Honorable Mention her sophomore year and First Team All-Conference her junior year. She was also the captain of her club team, Rush, for three years and earned the Rush CAP Leadership Award.

Mia Norman | Defender | Celina HS
Making her way to Greeley form Celina, Texas, Mia Norman is another impressive defender in the 2023 signing class. Norman brings impressive stats with her as she heads to Colorado, recording a total of 37 goals in her career at Celina High School, 12 of which came this past season. Her offensive talents also earned her 21 assists her junior season.

Paige Hill | Defender | North Ridge HS
Coach Barrera and staff will add hometown star Paige Hill to their defense in the fall as well. The Greeley native is a four-time letterwinner at North Ridge High School where she was also a two-time 4A Long Peaks Conference First Team honoree and earned All-State Honorable Mention. The talented defender helped her team reach the state 4A Final Four and Sweet Sixteen.
