Northern Colorado Alum,Ramiro Rivera Named Head Cheer Coach

UNC Athletics welcomes Ramiro Rivera as the Head Cheer Coach
GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado Athletics welcomes an alum back to take over the UNC Cheerleading team in Ramiro Rivera.
Ramiro brings 12 years of cheering experience with him including being on the cheer team at UNC while he was in school. During his time on the Bears' squad, he competed at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) College Nationals helping the team to the finals.
His coaching career started at Lyons Middle and Senior High School where he coached for two years. Following his time cheering for UNC he joined the staff as an assistant coach. Northern Colorado went on to the NCA College Nationals finals once again. He also has coached at Northridge High School in Greeley. Ramiro has worked with the National Cheerleaders Association for six years running as an instructional staffer.
Ramiro continues to cheer today with Steele Athletics on their Worlds team.
