Northern Colorado women's golf closed the 2020-21 season with a top 5 finish at the Big Sky Championship
MOLALLA, Ore. – Northern Colorado women's golf earned its second straight top five finish at the Big Sky Championship. The Bears finished in fifth place shooting a final round 25-over 313. For the tournament, UNC shot a 930.
Sophomore Abbi Fleiner finished inside the top 10. She shot a final round 4-over 76 to finish the tournament at an 11-over 227. She led the tournament with 11 birdies to help her earn a tie for 10th. Fleiner had four birdies on the day including opening and starting her day with one.
As a team, Northern Colorado led the tournament with 30 birdies.
Amy Chitkoksoong shot a second straight 3-over 75 to earn a top 20 finish. Her 14-over 230 was good enough to tie for 17th.
Graduate student Marisa Hisaki concluded her collegiate career with a top 25 finish. She shot a 18-over 237 over the three days fo end up tied for 21st.
