Knipp Signs with Hamilton Tiger-Cats

Former UNC quarterback signs to play in the CFL
GREELEY, Colo. – Former Northern Colorado quarterback Jacob Knipp is headed north of the border to play for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League. Knipp becomes the third former Bear to currently sign to play in the CFL joining former teammates Zach Wilkinson and Alex Wesley.
Knipp left UNC as one of the best quarterbacks in program history with the third-most passing yards (6,997), completions (553) and touchdown passes (44). As a Bear, he had five 300-plus yards games and a pair of games passing for over 400 yards.
The multi-year team captain was an All-Big Sky honorable mention his senior season.
