Bears Stay Undefeated at Bank of Colorado Arena

UNC women's basketball defeated Kansas Wesleyan 82-54 Tuesday Night
GREELEY, Colo. – Returning to the court for the first time in nine days and in front of their home crowd in over a month, Northern Colorado women's basketball took care of business beating Kansas Wesleyan 82-54.
The Bears dominated from the jump leading for 38:45 of the game and never trailing.
Northern Colorado started the game a little slow, but Allie Downing drained three straight threes near the end of the first quarter to get the teaming rolling. The Bears led 25-9 after the first 10 minutes.
Downing led the Bears with 15 points all coming from behind the line.
Kurstyn Harden dominated inside for the Bears scoring 14 points and grabbing 12 rebounds for her first career double-double. She scored 12 of her 14 points in the middle quarters. Harden grabbed seven offensive rebounds helping Northern Colorado outrebound KWU 52-27.

Ball movement was a key to UNC's success with a season-high 23 assists Tuesday night. All 11 players that saw the court recorded at least one assist. Zoe Campbell led the team with a career-best five.
Game Notes
- Downing extended her streak of games making a three to six games.
- Harden's double-double was the first of her career. The 12 rebounds are a career-best.
- Micayla Isenbart and Callie Boyles joined Downing and Harden scoring in double figures with 12 and 13, respectively.
