Klump elevated to Men's Basketball Director of Operations

GREELEY – Head Coach Steve Smiley has elevated University of Northern Colorado graduate and veteran student assistant Brad Klump to the position of Director of Men's Basketball Operations. Klump is entering his fourth year with the UNC men's basketball program.
"I'm really excited to promote Brad into our Director of Basketball Operations role. Brad has elevated himself through various roles on our staff for the past several years and he's added tremendous value to our program from day one. He's certainly earned this opportunity and I know that he will take a tremendous amount of pride in being a valuable member of our staff. A UNC grad himself, he's been a part of UNC and the Greeley community for many years, and I look forward to working with Brad as we move forward."
"I am truly blessed to continue my time with the Bears. I'm a Colorado kid but Greeley has been home since 2014," Klump said. "The Bears and the Greeley community are people who show up and get the job done every day and the men's basketball program personifies that spirit."
Klump moves into the Director of Operations position after serving the last two years as the team's Director of Player Development. He will oversee the functioning of the men's program including day-to-day business operations, team travel and management of the program's student managers. Klump will also coordinate the annual Steve Smiley summer camps.
Klump is a two time graduate of UNC, earning his bachelor's degree in journalism with a minor in business and master's in sports administration.
