Men's Hoops Rolls Past Colorado College

UNC men's basketball made easy work of Colorado College on Tuesday
It was some more home cooking for Northern Colorado men's basketball as they defeated Colorado College 104-38 on Tuesday night. The win improves UNC's record to 2-1 on the young season.
Northern Colorado outscored CC 56-10 in the second half after the Tigers kept it competitive in the first.
The Bears finished the game with five players in double figures scoring. Bodie Hume and Matt Johnson led the team with 21 points. Trent Harris (18), Kai Edwards (13) and Tre'Shot Smoots (10) were the other players to reach double digits.
Northern Colorado shot 60.6 percent on the night and made 17 shorts from behind the arc. On the defensive end, they held the Tigers to just 32.1 percent shooting including going 5-for-28 in the second half.

- Kai Edwards recorded his third career double-double scoring 13 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.
- For the second straight game, Jonah Radebaugh had a career-best in assists this time with eight. He added nine points, six rebounds and four steals.
- Tre'Shon Smoots matched Radebaugh's eight assists and had a steal and rebound. The Bears ended up with 22 assists on the night.
- Kur Jockuch had his first career double-figure rebound night finishing with 10.
- Johnson, Smoots and Rodrick McCobb all finished the night with career-highs scoring. McCobb ended the game with seven points.
- The 66-point margin of victory ties for the second biggest in program history. The only larger margin of victory came last season against Colorado College as well when the Bears won by 70.
What's Ahead
Northern Colorado is on the road for the rest of the month of November starting with a game at Northern Iowa on Saturday, November 16. The Bears and Panthers are set for an early 11 am MT tip-off.
UNC's next home game does not come until December 4 against Northern New Mexico at 7 pm.
