UNC linebacker/long snapper accepts invite to East-West Shrine Game
TAMPA BAY, Fla. – Northern Colorado linebacker/long snapper Jacob Bobenmoyer has accepted an invitation to participate in the 94th annual East-West Shrine Game on January 19 at Tropicana Field.
Bobenmoyer earned the invite for his long snapping abilities after being the team's long snapper for the past four seasons. In that time Bobenmoyer has helped UNC have a steady kicking game. He not only performed as a long snapper but also was a part of their kickoff coverage and return teams.
He is the second Bear to be invited to an all-star game this year, joining teammate Alex Wesley who is taking part in the Reese's Senior Bowl.
The East-West Shrine game features many alums who have gone on to great careers in the NFL including John Elway, Brett Farve and Tom Brady.
