@UNCBearsWrestle Closes Out Regular Season Against Air Force

The Bears will host the Air Force Falcons on Wednesday evening in their final dual of the year
GREELEY, Colo. – The Northern Colorado Bears will close out their regular season dual schedule on Wednesday evening, hosting the Air Force Falcons at 7:00pm.
UNC is coming off of their first Big 12 win of the season, defeating Utah Valley last Friday, 19-18. The Bears picked up five wins on the night, including a major decision at 165 pounds by Keilan Torres, and a pin at 197 pounds by Trent Noon to win the dual.
Air Force is currently 7-6 on the season (1-3 in Big 12 duals) with Division I wins over Grand Canyon (23-9) and Utah Valley (20-13). The Falcons most recent dual resulted in a 36-0 loss to Oregon State (Feb. 14).
This will be the 28th meeting between the two teams since 1975, with Air Force currently leading the series 15-12. Last season, the Bears edged out the Falcons 20-19, winning the 19-19 tie based on match point criteria.
Wednesday will also serve as Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day where all UNC faculty and staff members will receive $5 tickets with the presentation of their Bear Cards. UNC Wrestling Team faculty/staff favorites will also be recognized during the dual intermission.
The dual will be available to watch via live stream through EverSport (uncbears.com/watchwrestling) and fans can follow live stats/results through TrackWrestling (uncbears.com/wrestlestats).
The Bears will have two weeks off following the dual, in preparation for the Big 12 Conference Championships set for March 5-6 in Kansas City, Missouri (Spring Center).
