UNC Bears Wrestling Hosts Utah Valley On Senior Day

The Bears will face Big 12 opponent UVU on Friday evening
GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado Wrestling will host their second to last dual on Friday, Feb. 12, against Utah Valley, scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time.
Friday night will also be Senior Day, at which eight seniors will be recognized for their career accomplishments and their dedication to the program.
The Bears are coming off of a loss against Wyoming last weekend to close out the road portion of their 2015-16 schedule. The Bears scored seven team points in the dual, with Rico Montoya (133) winning by major decision, and Keilan Torres (165) closing out the dual with a win as well.
Utah Valley is 3-7 on the season thus far, and 0-1 in Big 12 duals. Their three wins came over Michigan State 30-6, Oregon State 20-19, and Boise State 22-12 back in November. Last season, the Bears defeated the Wolverines in Orem, Utah, 20-18 with five wins on the night to pull out the victory.
UNC holds a slight advantage in the all-time series against UVU, which is currently at 8-7.
