The Bears will renew an old rivalry against the Mavericks this Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 6:00 p.m. (MT) at Ralston Arena in Omaha.

NORTHERN COLORADO'S LAST GAME:Â
With both teams having the sour taste of Colorado State in their mouths, it cued an exciting evening in the Coors Event Center. Northern Colorado (4-4) once again played a brilliant first half of basketball, but couldn't carry it over into the second half, falling 93-68 to Colorado (6-3).
After coming off what is undoubtedly their worst performance from beyond the arc (4-21 against CSU) on the season UNC followed it up one of their better evenings, going 10-18, including an 80% first half performance (8-10).
UNC outscored Colorado, 8-2 in the final three minutes of the first half and would head into the locker room down just two, 44-42.

Colorado jumped on the lack of offense from the Bears in the second half, finishing the contest on a 32-16 run and downing UNC, 93-68.
Sophomore guard, Cameron Michael led UNC with 16 points, followed by senior guard, Tevin Svihovec with 13. Senior Forward Dominique Lee fell one point shy of his third double-double of the season, scoring 9 points and grabbing a career-high 17 boards.
Northern Colorado was outrebounded by the Buffaloes, 35-24. CU also posted 21 assists on the night compared to UNC's 10.
The Bears ended the game 24-61 (39.3%) from the floor, including 10-18 (55.6%) from three-point land. Colorado finished 31-49 (63.3%) from the field and 12-18 (66.7%) from beyond the arc.
UNO's LAST GAME:
The Omaha men's basketball team was edged out at UMKC on Saturday afternoon, falling 79-72 at Municipal Auditorium. With the loss, the Mavericks are now 4-5 (0-0 Summit League) on the season, while the Kangaroos improve to 4-7 (0-0 WAC).

Senior guard CJ Carter scored a team-leading 20 points, adding five rebounds, three assists, three steals and a block. Freshman forward Tre'Shawn Thurman was right behind him with a season-high 19 points on 8-of-14 shooting, also finishing with eight boards, four steals, three blocks and an assist.

Junior guard Marcus Tyus chipped in another double-digit scoring effort, totaling 13 points with five rebounds, two helpers and a steal. Junior forward Jake White, making his first appearance since Nov. 16, grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds alongside six points and a pair of assists.

As a team, Omaha shot .424 (28-of-66) to UMKC's .436 (24-of-55), but the Mavericks outrebounded the 'Roos 46-34. UNO forced 18 UMKC turnovers but committed a season-high 26 miscues.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Senior guard Corey Spence ranks tied for 1st in the NCAA in Free Throw Percentage, shooting a perfect 100% (17-17) from the line.
- Northern Colorado has the 45th best scoring offense in the nation, averaging 76.8 a contest.
- The Bears have the 22nd best FG Percentage in the NCAA, shooting 49.4% as a team.
- UNC ranks 4th in the country in the fewest turnovers per game, averaging 9.375 on the season.
- Senior guard, Tevin Svihovec scored his 1,000 career points against Black Hills State University on Nov. 14. He ended the game with 17 points.
- Svihovec is the 20th player in the program's history to reach the mark.
- The last time Northern Colorado won at Nebraska-Omaha was Dec. 9, 2000 beating the Mavs 99-68.
- UNC dropped its fourth straight road game against Colorado, 93-68 on Dec. 13. The 93 points were the most the team has given up all season.
- The Bears never led once throughout the game, but tied the score six different times in the first half.
- Senior forward, Dominique Lee grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds in the loss against Colorado. He out-rebounded his own team 17-7 in the game.
