Men's Basketball Hosts Stetson, Florida A&M Over Holiday Weekend

As a part of the Wyoming classic the Bears will be taking on Stetson, Friday, Nov. 28 at 7:00 p.m. and then will turn around and host Florida A&M on Sunday, Nov. 30 at 2:00 p.m.

LAST GAME:
GREELEY, Colo. – Five Bears (2-2, 0-0 Big Sky) reached double figures as the Northern Colorado men's basketball team cruised to a, 93-58 win over Colorado Christian (0-3, 0-0 RMAC) on Monday night.
UNC ended the game 30-51 (58.8%) from the field and converted on a season-high 12 three-balls.
Five Bears posted double-digits on the day, with Wilson and senior guard, Corey Spence both contributing 14 points in the win. Spence also had a team-high six rebounds. Senior guard, Tevin Svihovec added 12, along with Bender who scored a career-high 12 points. Senior forward, Tim Huskisson rounded out the scoring for UNC, notching 10 points and grabbing three boards.
STETSON'S LAST GAME:
Divine Myles scored a game-high 20 points but Stetson couldn't overcome New Mexico State's size and length in suffering an 88-68 setback in the opening game of the Wyoming Classic, Monday at Pan American Center.
Myles was 7-of-12 from the floor with one three-pointer and 5-of-7 at the free throw line in becoming the first Stetson freshman to crack to the 20-point scoring mark since 2011.
The Hatters shot 53 percent from the field and limited the Aggies (2-3) to 40 percent shooting but the Aggies owned a 62-20 advantage on the glass.
Brian Pegg finished with 14 points for SU on 6-of-9 shooting from the field.
FLORIDA A&M'S LAST GAME:
The Rattlers fell, 66-45 to Wyoming at Arena Auditorium in Laramie on Monday night despite a 16 point effort from Jermaine Ruttley. Â
A&M was contained to just 6-24 (25%) shooting from the floor in the first half and hit just one three pointer. The Rattlers showed much improvement in the second half, connecting on 12-24 (48%) of their shots from the field and hit 4-6 (66%) shots from beyond the arch.
Craig Bowman dropped 9 points for FAMU, while Quentin Bastin and Jorge Rosa both tallied 8 points in the double-digit loss.
