Tim Hays joined the University of Northern Colorado Athletics staff in October 2026.

Hays brings an extensive experience in live event production, ESPN+ broadcasting and in-venue presentation. Prior to joining UNC, Hays spent five years at Texas Tech University as an ESPN+ Producer and LED Presentation specialist, working with broadcast talent to produce live events while overseeing game-day storylines, in-venue graphics and LED content.

Before Texas Tech, Tim served as Assistant Director of Broadcast at the University of North Texas, where he managed broadcast equipment, developed graphics and production elements, and trained student staff in replay, graphics and audio. He also previously served as Director of Broadcast and Player Information for the Mavericks Independent Baseball League, overseeing league broadcasts, social media content, website updates, statistics and player information.

At UNC, Hays will contribute to the Bears' live event and digital production efforts, helping enhance the game-day experience and broadcast presentation across Northern Colorado Athletics.
