Shelby Jorissen was named Assistant Director of Sponsorships and Sales for UNC Athletics in July 2025 after serving as the Revenue Generation and Operations Assistant since August of 2024. She oversees all corporate sponsorships for the Athletics department, including sponsorship development, activation, fulfillment, and revenue generation.

Prior to UNC, Jorissen spent two seasons with the Denver Nuggets on their Media & Public Relations staff, including the team's NBA Championship season. She also spent three years as a Facilities and Events Assistant for MSU Denver's Athletics Department, supporting game-day and post-season operations, which included hosting the NCAA Division II Softball Championships at MSU Denver.

Jorissen graduated Summa Cum Laude from MSU Denver in May of 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Managements and Minor in Business. She was also a standout member on the MSU Denver softball team and received recognition as an NCAA Woman of the Year Finalist, an NCAA Today's Top 10 Award recipient, and a two-time First Team All-American.

Originally from Arvada, Colorado, Jorissen is in her third year coaching youth softball outside of her position at UNC. She was also selected as a 2026 Mike Cleary Stipend recipient to attend the NACMA Convention.
