DeAndre Betty joined the University of Northern Colorado Women’s Basketball Coaching Staff as an Assistant Coach in May 2025.
Betty is a passionate and detail-oriented basketball professional having previously served as the Director of Player Development for the Fresno State Women’s Basketball program. During his time with the Bulldogs, Betty has been instrumental in enhancing player performance, coordinating recruiting efforts, and managing equipment logistics. His work includes skill-specific training sessions, post-game video analysis, and fostering community connections through camps and outreach initiatives.
Prior to Fresno State, Betty served as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Nevada, Reno, where he handled live game film breakdown, managed practice analytics, and supported day-to-day team operations. His diverse experience also includes nearly a decade in community recreation with the City of Scottsdale.
His early roots in athletics include roles as Head Team Manager and Scout Player for programs such as ASU, Fresno State, Nevada, and the Phoenix Mercury, where he gained experience with video coordination and compliance. With expertise in tools such as Synergy Sports, Canva, Final Cut Pro, and Fast Scout, Betty brings a well-rounded, tech-savvy approach to coaching and player development.
A proud alumnus of Arizona State University, Betty holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Film and Media Production and Communication.
